That's right: Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout!!
I can't tell you how excited I am about this. Well, I can try to show you..
Sierra Affinity is going to finance and produce the movie. Now, since this all just happened, there isn't much other news. It's going to take a while before they will start looking for actors but the most important thing is, eventually Obsidian will actually become a movie. How awesome is that??
I'm already super curious about who they're gonna cast. Can't they just ask the cover model, Pepe Toth, if he can act?? No? Okay, well then they better find an awesomely hot actor, because that's just what Daemon is: H-O-T!
For those of you who haven't read this series, you really really should. I devoured the first three books within a few days at the beginning of this year. Now I'm very impatiently waiting for the fourth book: Origin, which comes out at the end of August. The fifth and last book comes out in 2014. I don't even want to think about the fact that we have to wait so freaking long before we can finally read how it's going to end between Daemon and Katy.
Anyways, here's what the first book, Obsidian, is about:
Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior
year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access,
and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming
height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do
not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally
freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister
have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch
has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive
is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is..
Intrigued? I know you are, so go buy it, quickly! You're not gonna regret it, I promise!
If you want to know more about Obsidian becoming a movie, check out Jennifer L. Armentrout's website. (It's also the place to go to for more Supernatural gifs hehe)
So what do you think about this huge news? Are you as excited as I am?
