First Grave on the Right had me laughing the whole time I read it. But the second book was a bit harder to get trough. It wasn't as funny as it's prequel and the story was kind of slow in the first half of the book. I also found it a bit confusing that at one point, Charley was trying to solve 3 cases at once. I really had to pay good attention to what case she was talking about this time. Eventually, the further in the book I got, the easier it was to read, and the funnier it became.

The thing I didn't like about Second Grave: I wanted more Charley and Reyes action! I get that Charley had to push him away, kind of, to try to get him to tell her where his body was but jeesh, I got really frustrated. Especially in the end. Because that ending... Okay, I'm gonna stop there because I don't want to spoil anything for you guys. But let's just say that I immediately downloaded the third book after I finished this one, because I really want to know what's gonna happen next.

Second Grave on the Left is getting 3,5 stars from me. Let's hope Third Grave Dead Ahead will be fast-paced and hilarious again, because I really want to give these books more stars.
